Woolpit Village website
Woolpit is one of those special villages buzzing with interest and
activity. Highlights include the Woolpit Festival, which attracts internationally
acclaimed musical talent. Meanwhile, St Mary's Church is one of the finest in
East Anglia, notable for its double hammer beam roof that has retained
its carved angels. The Old Brickworks, the site where
Rochford Pianos is now situated, once produced the famous Woolpit white
brick, used in the building of The White House in Washington. The history of the Brickworks is displayed in the Woolpit Museum.
The Apex, Bury St Edmunds
Bury St Edmunds new music venue - a chance to listen to a Yamaha C7
grand piano in the main concert hall and a Yamaha U3 upright piano in
the piano bar, both supplied by Rochford Pianos. Some good
musicians are lined up.
