Rochford
Pianos are established specialist piano restorers recognised across
East Anglia for their expertise in all aspects of piano restoration
from repairs and servicing to full rebuilding. While specialising in
the restoration of Steinway, Bechstein and Bluthner pianos and other
fine instruments including rare antique pianos, we also welcome a
broad range of other makes and would be happy to advise on the best
option for your piano.
Our workshop, established in 1984, is fully equipped to
undertake the full range of specialist tasks including re-stringing,
re-felting and traditional french polishing as well as more complex
work such as soundboard restoration, wrest plank replacement, cast iron
frame repair and ivory keyboard restoration.
Dominic Rochford, a leading restoration specialist, is
involved from start to finish to ensure the continuity necessary
to achieve perfect results. He is recognised for his knowledge and
ability to apply the right techniques to unique and diverse situations
