As
well as complete restorations we offer the full range of piano services
including tuning, servicing, valuations, piano removals and storage.
Piano tuning and piano servicing
All
pianos sold or hired are fully prepared for musicians to enjoy.
Dominic Rochford's specialist training in London and subsequent
experience with leading manufacturers ensures that he can respond to the
needs of specific pianos including concert preparation of Steinways and
Yamahas. Tuning is also carried out by carefully chosen suitably
experienced colleagues. During a service, we go through a comprehensive
list of checks and adjustments. Regular servicing involves adjustment
of parts, called "regulation", which enables optimum performance as
well as prolonging the life of your piano. With pianos we have not seen
before, we will also identify if any other attention is needed and will
give genuine guidance as to the
most appropriate work that would be beneficial. See also Piano Restoration page.
Piano removals and storage
We
undertake removals with specialist piano moving equipment and have the
facility to store your piano in a dedicated climate-controlled secure
unit.
